Steps:
- Preheat & Measure: Heat your press with hot water and discard. Weigh about 30 g coffee and 450 g water.
- Add & Bloom: Add coffee and pour 60 g water to saturate the grounds. Let bloom for 30 seconds.
- Stir & Steep: Stir gently, top off with the remaining water. Place the lid on with plunger up and steep for 4 minutes.
- Plunge & Pour: Press slowly over 20 seconds. Serve immediately to avoid over-extraction.
Tip: Stir halfway through steeping for even extraction. Decant if you’re not drinking right away to prevent bitterness.
